Before launching Location Marketing, Louise spent 9 years working within European Economic Development Agencies.
Between 2004 and 2006 Louise was Communications and Marketing Manager for the ANIMA project within Invest in France (Marseille). Within her role, she was responsible for numerous training sessions and missions focusing on the development of successful lead generation, communication and innovation strategies and their subsequent application.
The previous 7 years were spent with the Welsh Development Agency (WDA) in their offices in Cardiff, UK (1997-2000) and Amsterdam, the Netherlands (2001-2004). During her time in Cardiff, Louise actively contributed to the development of a series of European-funded programmes which encouraged the uptake of technology and innovation within the indigenous business community. In Amsterdam, Louise was co-responsible for the creation of a European Headquarters and in her role as European Project Manager she successfully developed in-market marketing and communications functions within the WDA's European target markets (Germany, France, Italy, Benelux, Scandinavia and Ireland). She was also responsible for the replication of this function into the US and Canadian operations.
Louise is a British citizen and has been living in France for the past 12 years. She has also lived in the Netherlands and Germany. Louise speaks fluent French and German and has a high level of comprehension of Dutch.
José is a young professional who has strong experience in economic development. At the Gers Chamber of Commerce in France, where he started his career, he was in charge of the European project "Crea Business Idea". This project gathered 7 development agencies in France, Spain and Portugal. Jose's role was to help companies in their innovation projects and promote the Gers location to innovative companies.
His abilities brought him to Canada, where he was hired by the South-Shore Chamber of Commerce in Longueuil, near Montreal. He set up an ambitious program aimed at helping companies integrate their immigrant employees, through free French classes and grants. He was later in charge of the development of the Chamber of Commerce's membership.
José joined Location Marketing in 2013 and manages all of the economic intelligence and research function. José speaks French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
